I've been wanting a 60s-era bar cart (a-la-Mad Men) for some time now and have yet to find anything that tickled my fancy. Alas, cb2 just released an adorable retro-inspired rolling cart that is just what I've been looking for. I'll be honest, I was hoping for something actually vintage, but this little guy might have to do! And here are some of my favorite accoutrements to go along with it. Whiskey Sour anyone?

the metropolitan museum of art exhibition highlighting the work of alexander mcqueen was so amazing i am still at a loss for words. the craftsmanship and the story behind each piece was fascinating - and being able to see the pieces up close made me appreciate his work even more than before.

art does amazing things in a home. i love just looking at these prints that are framed so nicely above my dining table. the balance of warmth and coolness (both literal and in color palette), the varying scales, the difference in subject, noticing something new each time i look at them...they just make me so happy! isn't art fantastic in that way?
